FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
Orders start from 1500 pieces.
Is it possible to print on both the outside and inside of the box?
You betcha. The secret to these shoe boxes is that the corrugated card can be layered with offset paper. That means that you can print in full-colour (CMYK) on the outside, inside or both with high quality offset printing. You can also print directly on all sides with flexographic printing with up to 4 colours (Pantone). Just keep in mind that the number of colours and order quantity will determine the printing method used. Reach out during the quoting process and our packaging experts can take you through all your print options.
What finishes are available?
You can give your shoe boxes a standard matt or gloss finish, both on the inside and outside. Likewise, UV gloss/matt/spot lamination can be applied to both sides of the material. Add some extra wow with hot stamping. Just a heads up, these add-ons are only available through offset printing.
Are there any standard sizes for these shoe boxes?
Sizing is customizable, but there are also five standard sizes to cover the usual range of footwear sizes. They include (outside dimensions):
- 250 x 120 x 90 mm
- 290 x 170 x 100 mm
- 290 x 280 x 110 mm
- 300 x 150 x 100 mm
- 350 x 200 x 120 mm
Can I choose a different box design or lid?
There are two box styles to choose from, each with a different type of lid. The first is a classic two-piece box design (FEFCO 300) with a shallow lid that sits just over the edge of the box. The other (FEFCO 306) has a deeper lid that fully covers the sides. It makes for a neat and seamless look. Both styles are glued on all four corners of the box. But at Pachelp Plus, we can design your shoe box from the ground up, depending on your needs. Just reach out during the quoting process and our packaging experts will deliver you a fully customized solution. Alternatively, you can submit a design brief here.
How eco-friendly are these shoe boxes?
The cardboard used in these boxes is made from a mix of 90% recycled content and certified wood. That means that the paper pulp is sourced from responsibly managed forests and mills. All production is conducted locally in Europe. That keeps the demands on the planet down, along with Co2 emissions. The recyclability of your boxes all comes down to whether you include a finish or not. Without any foils, the box is 100% recyclable. But the box becomes non-recyclable after plastic lamination.
Can I use these boxes for shipping?
These product boxes are made from the same corrugated cardboard (Flute E) as our mailing boxes. So, theoretically, the box could be used for shipping as long as they are properly secured. The difference is that a mailing box is generally used as protective (secondary) packaging, while shoe boxes are mainly used as display boxes. TIP: think about combining your footwear packaging with our mailing bags to protect the surface of the box from damage during delivery.
How are these boxes delivered?
These two-piece boxes are delivered shelf-ready. That means that the box and the lid are already pre-glued and assembled.
