Using space efficiently when packaging and delivering products as a way to reduce net carbon emissions.

Using space efficiently when packaging and delivering products as a way to reduce net carbon emissions.

Efficient fulfilment definition

Products with the efficient fulfilment tag are packed in a way that maximises the available space during transit.

Packhelp defines efficient fulfilment as packaging products that are sent flat and unassembled to our customer. Flat products are easier to stack, and therefore take advantage of the available space inside a delivery truck.

The ‘efficient fulfilment’ tag also means that if you order 120 units and a pallet can hold 100 units, you’ll receive 1 pallet of 100 items, and the remaining 20 units packaged in the most efficient way possible. This minimises carbon emissions during transit, rather than using 2 pallets with 60 units, or one pallet with 100 and other with 20.

Why you should use efficient fulfilment

Efficient fulfilment may be important to a brand as it can help lower their carbon footprint and raw material use.

A well-stacked pallet means that there is more space in a delivery van for more products. This, in turn, means the van can carry more cargo use its fuel in a more efficient manner.

Packhelp and efficient fulfilment

The delivery department of all Packhelp factories stack packaging in the most efficient way possible. This saves space inside the van, but also makes it easier to handle.
