FAQ
What kinds of products can I pack in each type of doypack?
You can pack food and dry products in doypacks: coffee, tea, spices, dried fruit and nuts, snacks, supplements, cosmetics or pet food. A stand-up doypack is versatile, a flat-bottom or side-gusset version holds more volume, and for freshly roasted coffee you choose the version with a degassing valve. An inner barrier (polymer or aluminium) protects the contents from moisture, oxygen and light.
What customisation options do I have?
You can personalise doypacks in several ways. Print: cover the whole front with your own full-colour (CMYK) artwork - upload your logo, choose your brand colours and check the design in the 3D preview in the online editor, with over 200 ready-made templates to start from. Material and colour: kraft paper in brown, or white or black film in a glossy or matte finish. For a smaller batch, instead of a full print you can choose a plain doypack with a personalised label. Plus functional add-ons: a zip, a notch, a euro slot and a degassing valve - individually or combined.
Are doypacks suitable for food contact?
Yes. The inner barrier layer means you can safely pack food in them - coffee, tea, spices or snacks. For moist or greasy products, choose the version with a stronger barrier (film with an aluminium layer), which best protects against moisture and oxygen.
What doypack sizes can I choose from?
Dimensions start at about 11 x 7 x 17 cm and reach about 19 x 11 x 26 cm, and the side-gusset version goes up to about 15 x 8 x 38 cm. You set the exact size and capacity for the chosen type on the product page.
How do I choose the right type of doypack for my product?
The choice mainly comes down to two things. Product and protection: for dry and aromatic products (coffee, spices) choose a stronger barrier with an aluminium layer, and for freshly roasted coffee the version with a valve. Capacity and display: a stand-up doypack for standard quantities, and a flat-bottom or side-gusset one when you need more volume and stable shelf standing. If you are torn between options, order samples and test them with your own product.
How are doypacks sealed and opened?
By default, doypacks are closed by heat-sealing after filling. Opening and reclosing depends on the add-ons you choose: a zip lets you close the pack after opening, and a notch makes first opening easier. For coffee there is a version with a degassing valve.
