Doypack pouches provide a modern and practical packaging format for many industries. This type of flexible packaging is ideal for dry goods, including food items like coffee, tea, snacks, supplements, and pet food. The design ensures products remain fresh while standing upright on retail shelves, creating an excellent presentation. With various materials and customisation options, businesses can create pouches that protect their contents and reflect their brand identity.

Versatile doypack pouches for packaging

The core of the range includes several formats designed for stability and visibility. The classic doypack, also known as a stand up pouch, uses a bottom gusset that allows it to stand securely on any flat surface. This makes it a popular choice for retail environments. For larger volumes or a more structured appearance, consider flat bottom pouches, which offer five distinct panels for branding and information. Side-gusset pouches provide a different profile, often used for coffee or tea, expanding as you fill them to hold more product. Each format offers a reliable barrier against moisture and oxygen, preserving the quality of the contents. For a simple and effective starting point, the Plain Doypack Pouch is a versatile option for many different applications. These pouches for packaging are suitable for a wide array of products, from fine powders to granular goods and solid items, ensuring a secure and professional finish.

Materials for flexible packaging pouches

Choose from several high-quality laminate materials to construct your flexible packaging pouches. Options include a natural-look kraft paper laminate for an organic feel, or a metallic film available in either a matte or gloss finish for a more premium appearance.

Customisation options for packaging pouches

Create packaging that aligns perfectly with a brand's visual identity. We offer full-colour CMYK printing across the entire front surface of the pouch, allowing for vibrant and detailed designs. This process brings complex graphics, logos, and product information to life. Alternatively, businesses can select a Stand-Up Pouch with Custom Label, which combines a stock pouch with a personalised, self-adhesive label for faster turnaround or smaller batches. The online design tool makes it straightforward to upload artwork and visualise the final product before placing an order. With low minimum order quantities, this makes high-quality, custom printed pouches accessible for businesses of all sizes.

Functional features for food packaging pouches

Enhance the user experience with practical features built into the food packaging pouches. A resealable zip closure maintains product freshness after opening, while a tear notch provides easy initial access. For retail display, add a euro slot for hanging.

Plain pouches packaging solutions

For businesses that require unprinted packaging, a selection of plain pouches provides a straightforward solution. These stock items suit companies that apply their own labels or prefer a minimalist aesthetic. The range includes the Plain Side-Gusset Pouch, which is perfect for bulk items like coffee beans. You can also select the Plain Flat-Bottom Pouch for its sturdy base with heavier contents. For coffee roasters, the Custom Doypack Pouch with Degassing Valve is an essential item that integrates this necessary feature directly into the design.

FAQ

What kinds of products can I pack in each type of doypack?

You can pack food and dry products in doypacks: coffee, tea, spices, dried fruit and nuts, snacks, supplements, cosmetics or pet food. A stand-up doypack is versatile, a flat-bottom or side-gusset version holds more volume, and for freshly roasted coffee you choose the version with a degassing valve. An inner barrier (polymer or aluminium) protects the contents from moisture, oxygen and light.

What customisation options do I have?

You can personalise doypacks in several ways. Print: cover the whole front with your own full-colour (CMYK) artwork - upload your logo, choose your brand colours and check the design in the 3D preview in the online editor, with over 200 ready-made templates to start from. Material and colour: kraft paper in brown, or white or black film in a glossy or matte finish. For a smaller batch, instead of a full print you can choose a plain doypack with a personalised label. Plus functional add-ons: a zip, a notch, a euro slot and a degassing valve - individually or combined.

Are doypacks suitable for food contact?

Yes. The inner barrier layer means you can safely pack food in them - coffee, tea, spices or snacks. For moist or greasy products, choose the version with a stronger barrier (film with an aluminium layer), which best protects against moisture and oxygen.

What doypack sizes can I choose from?

Dimensions start at about 11 x 7 x 17 cm and reach about 19 x 11 x 26 cm, and the side-gusset version goes up to about 15 x 8 x 38 cm. You set the exact size and capacity for the chosen type on the product page.

How do I choose the right type of doypack for my product?

The choice mainly comes down to two things. Product and protection: for dry and aromatic products (coffee, spices) choose a stronger barrier with an aluminium layer, and for freshly roasted coffee the version with a valve. Capacity and display: a stand-up doypack for standard quantities, and a flat-bottom or side-gusset one when you need more volume and stable shelf standing. If you are torn between options, order samples and test them with your own product.

How are doypacks sealed and opened?

By default, doypacks are closed by heat-sealing after filling. Opening and reclosing depends on the add-ons you choose: a zip lets you close the pack after opening, and a notch makes first opening easier. For coffee there is a version with a degassing valve.
