Because PET containers are lightweight, durable and shatterproof, they’re a great solution for an assortment of products, both water-based and dry. This includes supplements and cosmetics (lotions, powders, pills, shampoos) and food products (spices, flour, sauces, etc.). Please make sure to test the container with your product as usage is case-sensitive.
Yes. All our PET containers are fully recyclable. Made of Polyethylene Terephthalate, they can be recycled into new bottles, clothing, carpet and industrial strapping.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recognise PET plastic as safe for food packaging. It’s best to keep your PET containers in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
Yes, though the container’s waterproofness is largely dependent on the type of cap used. While the PS 22 liner and the regular unlined cap might not be entirely suitable for water-based products, EPE and induction liners will do the job.
Powders, pills, spices and other dry products will be perfectly preserved by the PS 22 liner. It is not leakproof, though. The pressure-sensitive seal needs a dry land area to adhere to the bottle.
This budget-friendly liner serves as a leakproof barrier. While the EPE is a general-purpose cap liner, its true calling is liquids and water-based supplements, like lotions. If you’re looking for an airtight seal, use the induction liner rather than the EPE.
This is what you’re looking for if your products require a hermetic or airtight closure. The induction liner creates the most secure seal of all. Any tampering with the opening is readily apparent as the liner is applied with an induction sealing machine and is impossible to reseal. Use with your dry and wet supplements that need special attention. The liner comes with a choice of plain or printed with a message like “sealed for your protection”.
If you’re looking for a child-resistant cap (CRC), the pharmacy cap should be your choice. The user must push it down and twist to open, which makes it challenging for a child. Since this cap type is required for certain over-the-counter drugs, it is generally a good enough seal to protect from external contamination.
