You can stuff PET bottles and jars with a wide range of products, solid or liquid. As these containers are both light and sturdy, they’re a handy and protective vessel for supplement powders and pills, lotions and creams, and even dry and wet foods. Please note that only appropriate testing will tell you if the PET plastic is compatible with your product.
Absolutely. Crafted from Polyethylene Terephthalate, PET containers are 100% recyclable plastic. They are also sturdy enough to be reused multiple times for purposes other than the original.
Regulatory agencies such as the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have approved PET for food packaging purposes. To be extra careful, store your PET bottles and jars in a cool and dry area.
Yes, the container itself is waterproof. But in practice, it is only impervious with the right cap. For instance, caps without liners or with PS 22 (pressure-sensitive) liners are not best suited for liquids.
